The Cyrus Family Theater
What could people expect to experience at The Cyrus Family Theater? Well, host and Billy Ray cousin, Bobby Cyrus, wants everyone to feel like you are visiting his family in eastern Kentucky. Your first impression as you walk into the theater is that the walls in the entry are covered with family pictures and memories of a time when things were much simpler. A time when friends were always welcome and where you did not need an invitation. The theater is not big but is very intimate and you quickly feel like you are a very special guest – and you are!
The music is a nice blend of standard songs, current country songs and some heart warming original tunes. The house comedian and emcee, Billy Goldsmith, quickly has the audience in stitches as he relates various stories of his personal misfortunes. The talented house band, singers and special guests are always fantastic and relate very well with the audience. You will laugh, you will cry but you will mostly be entertained by a seasoned group of performers. Bobby stated that “we were not trying to make our show a big production – our goal was to expose our guests to some of the best music and talent in the country.”
To complete the hospitality theme, The Cyrus Family Theater invites all guests to remain after the show for a complimentary cookout. Bobby states “you don’t visit our home without getting fed. That is all part of our desire to create the perfect and complete evening at The Cyrus Family Theater.”
